Release 0.17.2: the city arena joins PvP
Last Tank Standing is now a real PvP free-for-all: human commanders share one 12-slot match and smart bots fill only the places the queue could not fill.
Players first, bots only for empty seats
The urban arena is no longer a second solo Steel Hunter. It now belongs to PvP and opens one shared free-for-all for up to 12 human commanders. Matchmaking waits for players first; after ten seconds, smart replacement bots take only the unfilled slots so a commander is not trapped in an empty queue.
- One shared 12-combatant PvP match
- Every commander and replacement bot fights for itself
- Ten-second player-first matchmaking window
- FFA remains an unranked beta while server statistics are validated
- No extra patrol bots beyond the 12 match slots
Routes that survive the corners
Replacement bots engage only after visual contact, navigate around destructible blocks, fight one another and divert toward landed supplies while no target is visible. Their movement and combat run on the shared match server, so every human sees the same opponents and outcome.
Supplies now enter the fight
Airdrops are now authoritative match events instead of local decorations. A staggered opening wave descends during the first minute, followed by randomized resupply. Humans and replacement bots contest the same repair kits, ammunition and temporary combat upgrades.
